Two Greencycles Senior Scientists will participating in ERCA 2008 - the European Research Course on Atmospheres.

ERCA is a five week long course on atmosphere. The first four weeks are spent in Grenoble, France and the final week is spent at the Observatoire de Haute-Provence, near the small city of Forcalquier (170km south of Grenoble).

Tomek Kasikowski (ER2) and Federica Pacifico (ESRII) plan to attend ERCA 2008.

Two Greencycles senior scientists will be contributing to ERCA 2008.

The Greencycles Co-ordinator, Andrew Friend, will be giving two lectures, the first on "Toward a predictive understanding of the role of the vegetation in atmospheric processes", and the second on : "Biogenic feedbacks on global climate change: hotspots in the Earth system".

The Greencycles senior scientist, Andrew Watson will be giving two lectures too, one on "The ocean sink of atmospheric CO2", and the second on "What causes glacial to interglacial atmospheric Co2 change?"
